Swedish Health Services Echosonographer II - Echocardiology in Issaquah, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Echosonographer II (0.5 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Echocardiology at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, Washington.
This position is responsible for performing M-Mode, Two-Dimensional, Pulsed and Continuous Wave Doppler, Color Flow Imaging, and Stress (Treadmill and Pharmacologic) Echocardiography. This position requires the understanding of anatomy on pediatric and adult patients. Must be proficient at performing Preliminary Reports for placement in the medical chart immediately following every echo exam.
In this position you will:
Perform and understand all adult M-Mode, Two-Dimensional, Color Flow, and Pulsed and Continuous Wave Doppler Imaging procedures on inpatients and outpatients as scheduled.
Require the performance and understanding of Pediatric and Fetal M-Mode, Two-Dimensional, Pulsed and Continuous Wave Doppler, Color Flow Imaging procedures on inpatients and outpatients as scheduled.
Perform echocardiograms using a contrast agent when ordered by a cardiologist.
Coordinate, schedule and assist the cardiologist with their TEE procedures.
Coordinate, schedule and perform stress echocardiograms. The stress portion includes the treadmill and pharmacological stress echocardiography.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Two (2) years cardiac scanning experience with adult and pediatric patients
Satisfactory completion of a formal Ultrasound training program
Meets the requirements for registry by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in Adult and Pediatric Echocardiography
Registry with the ARDMS in Pediatric Echocardiography is required within one year of employment
Registry with the ARDMS in Adult Echocardiography is required within one year of employment.

- Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound
