Swedish Health Services Manager Swedish Cancer Institute Issaquah in Issaquah, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Manager Swedish Cancer Institute Issaquah (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in I ssaquah Swedish Cancer Institute at Swedish First Hill in I ssaquah , Washington.

Manages and coordinates all SCI therapy and clinic support services delivered at the SCI Issaquah site. The position is responsible for the daily operations and personnel as well as: financial and business planning, business and new program development, marketing and communications, and physician relations for all areas related to the Issaquah Campus. Actively participates as a member of the SCI & Issaquah Ambulatory strategic management teams. Plans and budgets for the cost-effective delivery of current and proposed new SCI services at Issaquah.

In this position you will: .

  • Works in collaboration with SCI Administration and Medical Leadership to provide supervision and leadership to the clinic staff and support services supervisors in their delivery of high quality patient care and customer

  • service.Insures that all staffing and training needs of the department are provided for and that all HR policies, safety requirements, regulatory compliance and other standards applicable to cancer treatment services are met.

  • Develop, establish, support and enforce clinical standards required for safe, effective and efficient clinical practices in conjunction with discipline specific leads.

  • Prepares operating and capital budget requests to insure that the technology and services of the department are appropriate for a market leader in these services.

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate revenue cycle processes including insurance verification and authorization, financial counseling, charge estimates and billing/coding.

  • Facilitates special projects for value improvement and facilities improvement and enhancement as appropriate.

  • Maintains good working relationships and communication with other operating departments of SMC.

  • Responsible for continuing the promotion of excellent customer service. Recruitment and hiring practices emphasize high standards for customer service.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • 5 years Management or supervisory experience in organization comparable to the SCI.

  • In-depth work experience in the radiation therapy and/or medical oncology field in positions that demonstrate strong abilities to supervise and lead multiple work groups, set and achieve goals, and maintain high standards of quality patient care and customer service.

  • Proven experience establishing, measuring and tracking performance metrics as well as the ability to respond an change as needed to improve metric results.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree Applicable field Or equivalent educ/experience

  • RN or RTT certification preferred.
