Act as an extension to the physician by providing full continuum of Athletic Trainer services and patient care within the level and scope of training and ATC licensure.
In this position you will:
Perform limited functional physical examinations, record medical histories, and formulate accurate care plans in collaboration with supervising physician.
Effectively formulate and implement patient care treatment plans including but not limited to appropriate rehabilitation protocols as well as the coordination of physical therapy and imaging referrals.
Consult with physician(s) as needed to assess patient care and ongoing treatment.
Ensure that medical charts, patient billing, and related administrative duties are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure that same day care is available to patients with acute illness or minor injuries.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree Athletic Training, holds ATC (Athletic Trainer, Certified) credential.
2 years Progressively more responsible ATC experience in a clinic, school or with a sports team.
Experience with injury evaluation and rehabilitation.
Washington State Athletic Trainer Certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
Current Washington State License (AT-L).
