Swedish Health Services Clinical Lead Pharmacist in Seattle, Washington
This position works closely with the Pharmacy Director or Manager to set the operational and clinical goals for the department. The Lead Pharmacist is responsible for directing the day to day operations of the pharmacists and technicians to assure that the department is operating efficiently and that established policies for clinical programs and/or distributive functions are being adhered to by the staff.
Clinical Lead Pharmacist - Ballard
Directs workload and assigns tasks to the pharmacist and technical staff to assure that the department operates efficiently.
Assures that departmental policies and procedures are being followed.
Evaluates and communicates any changes to staffing and/or policies and procedures that are necessary for the smooth operation of the department to the appropriate pharmacy manager.
Evaluates the equipment and supply needs for areas of responsibility.
Works with the pharmacy managers to evaluate, upgrade and maintain computer programs and equipment to meet the needs of the department.
Make contributions to the department in assigned specialty area as directed by pharmacy management.
Participates in inter-departmental committees as directed by pharmacy management.
Assists pharmacy management in evaluating pharmacy staff performance for annual reviews.
Completes projects in a timely manner.
Participates in quality improvement and clinical initiatives as directed by Pharmacy Management.
A graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
Washington Pharmacist License upon hire
2 years working as a pharmacist in an acute, or ambulatory care setting
