Mammography Technologist

The Mammography Technologist is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

• Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• At the time of hire must have Radiologic Technologist registry by ARRT.

• Washington State Certified Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).

• Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.

Preferred qualifications:

• Current ARRT advanced certification in mammography If not certified in mammography, candidate will be required to seek and pass advanced certification within 1 year of employment.

• Two years of full-time mammography experience
