Mammography Technologist
The Mammography Technologist is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
At the time of hire must have Radiologic Technologist registry by ARRT.
Washington State Certified Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
Preferred qualifications:
Current ARRT advanced certification in mammography If not certified in mammography, candidate will be required to seek and pass advanced certification within 1 year of employment.
Two years of full-time mammography experience
