Medical Assistant Openings at Multiple Swedish Primary Care Clinic Locations throughout the Puget Sound.
Swedish Medical Group is seeking Medical Assistants (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) at participating Primary Care clinics throughout the Puget Sound in Seattle, Ballard, Renton, Edmonds, Everett, Bellevue, Issaquah, and Redmond, Washington.
Up to $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Swedish that begin on your first day of employment Applicants that meet qualifications will receive a text with some additional questions from our Modern Hire system.
At Swedish, we are passionate about healthcare for our caregivers. Full-time caregivers (0.75-1.0 FTE) who earn less than $60,000 per year will be offered the Swedish PPO Medical Plan with a $0 premium cost, including dependent coverage.
The Medical Assistant works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A Medical Assistant performs all aspects of the Medical Assistant role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. A Medical Assistant is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Coursework/Training in Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
Washington Medical Assistant Certification
National Medical Assistant Certification
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
6 months of Healthcare experience
6 months of Medical Assistant experience
- Coursework/Training in Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
