Swedish Health Services Operations Coordinator Research - Clinical Trials Research in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is calling an Operations Coordinator Research (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work for the Clinical Trials Research at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Research Operations Coordinator is responsible for independently coordinating and performing high volume, complex and specialized administrative, office, and project management duties in support of the Division of Research, the Chief Science Officer, and the research finance, grant and contract and leadership teams

In this position you will:

  • Participate with department management in the planning and management of department accountabilities. Participates in planning of department/project budgets, processes and monitors department accounting records such as revenue and charges

  • Maintain master schedules and status of department accountabilities, individual projects and requirements as the primary department liaison for internal and external customers

  • Act as primary contact for administrative and/or specialized information regarding department accountabilities and/or projects

  • Create, edit, and proofread variety of highly complex correspondence, memos, presentations and public relations materials to high level management, wide organizational distribution, or public distribution

  • Manage the maintenance, review, and updating of department documentation, which may include contracts, standards, policies and procedures, legal or corporate regulatory requirements. Ensures department information is distributed and maintained with appropriate departments and external customers

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Bachelors - or- equivalent work experience

  • Five (5) yeears of Job related experience, managing the daily operations of a fast paced office environment coordinating complex administrative projects and supporting multiple professional staff members

  • One (1) year experience leading the work of others

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing data to identify and report issues, patterns, and trends

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting
