Patient Scheduler – Endocrinology and Bariatrics at Swedish First Hill

$3,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p PST. Flexible shift times, as long as they are within the operating hours listed for department. NO WEEKENDS OR MAJOR HOLIDAYS.

This position performs a variety of front office clerical and support tasks in an outpatient setting. Responsible for greeting patients, new referral intake, appointment and surgical scheduling, insurance authorization, collecting insurance co-payments, billing, abstracting, and clinic medical record management. Manages external database for patient tracking purposes, daily deposits for front office and retail, and reminder call organization. Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team in developing and implementing process flow as it relates to bariatric patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year related experience with Hospital or private venture Bariatric program

  • Retail experience a plus, but not required for health related products
