Patient Services Coordinator II

$3,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment

The Patient Services Coordinator II may also be responsible for the performance and maintenance of the patient follow-up and tracking functions as required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act. This includes short-term and yearly recall, follow-up of abnormal mammograms, follow-up of positive core biopsies, data gathering for and performance of medical audits and outcome analyses. Function as a resource for statistical analysis of clinical practice.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree -or- equivalent from a college or technical school.

  • One (1) year related experience in a healthcare setting (i.e. physician’s office, scheduler, etc.).

The 697-bed tertiary-care center on the Swedish/First Hill campus is the flagship of the Swedish health-care system. Swedish/First Hill has one of the most active and advanced birthing programs in Washington state and houses a Level III neonatal intensive-care unit. More surgeries are performed each year at Swedish/First Hill than at any other facility in the region; volumes include more total joint replacements than any other medical center in the state.
