Patient Services Representative - Multiple participating Swedish Clinic Locations Up to 3,000 Hiring Bonus

Swedish is seeking a Patient Services Representative (1.0 FTE, 0.5 FTE, and On Call Day Shifts) at participating Swedish Medical Group clinics throughout the Puget Sound in Seattle, Ballard, Renton, Edmonds, Everett, Bellevue, Issaquah, and Redmond, Washington.

Up to $3,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Swedish that begin on your first day of employment.

At Swedish, we are passionate about healthcare for our caregivers. Full-time caregivers (0.75-1.0 FTE) who earn less than $60,000 per year will be offered the Swedish PPO Medical Plan with a $0 premium cost, including dependent coverage.

The Patient Services Representative provide effective and efficient front office services to patients; coordinate internal and external clinic phone communications among staff, patients, and providers; accurately collect records and ensure distribution to appropriate staff via computer and/or manual systems; administer co-pay collection from patients; perform clerical, scheduling, and records activities in support of patients and staff.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting

• Knowledge of insurance and insurance industry practices
