Swedish Health Services Research Coordinator II - Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, Washington

Description:

The Swedish Cancer Institute is looking for a Research Coordinator II (1 FTE, Day SHIFT) at Swedish Research in Seattle, WA.

Independently coord inates research and administrative tasks in support of one or more research studies. Works with study investigators and supervisor to address study-related issues. Backs up other coordinators as needed. Supports department financial performance through budgeting, billing and as directed.

In this position you:

  • May transport investigational medications and devices.

  • Maintains study supplies and equipment in accordance with protocol and SMC policies and procedures.

  • Ensures proper storage and shipment of biological specimens in accordance with local and federal regulations.

  • Performs study procedure tasks as assigned and maintains knowledge of protocol requirements.

  • Registers patients to studies and monitors compliance.

  • Completes case report forms in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in science, healthcare, or other related field). Significant experience in research coordination may be substituted for educational requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience in related area

  • Requires basic knowledge of FDA research policies, other applicable federal regulations and/or GCP guidelines.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or similar professional research certification
