Swedish Health Services Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy in Seattle, Washington

Description

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations

Required qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory care program.

  • Must have completed Respiratory Care’s department orientation.

  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Preferred qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)- National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire

  • Active member of the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC) upon hire

  • 6 months previous hospital based work experience, in the field of Respiratory Care.
