Description

This position performs a variety of front office clerical and support tasks in an outpatient setting. Responsible for greeting patients, new referral intake, appointment and surgical scheduling, insurance authorization, collecting insurance co-payments, billing, abstracting, and clinic medical record management. May assist in coordination of research activities for accreditation purposes.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year related experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of health care assistant program with an accredited school

• Experience with hospital and/or clinic based Bariatric program

• Retail experience a plus, but not required for health related products
